If you are a current or prospective graduate student (master’s or doctoral) interested in working with Dr. Neha Gothe, please email your CV to n.gothe@northeastern.edu.
We encourage students to reach out to Dr. Gothe before applying to the Exercise Physiology Lab (EPL) at Northeastern University. This will provide an opportunity to discuss the EPL’s research agenda, funding possibilities, and any other questions you may have. Applications are accepted year-round. Currently, all graduate students in the EPL receive funding through research and/or teaching assistantships and a tuition waiver. We also strongly recommend visiting the Northeastern campus prior to applying.
Accepted students will have numerous opportunities to engage in research, teaching, and professional development, including presenting posters and papers at conferences and participating in grant writing. Students are expected to be actively involved in all aspects of research, from literature reviews and study development to Institutional Review Board compliance, participant recruitment, program delivery, data management, analysis, and manuscript preparation. The EPL’s research spans from randomized controlled trials to survey studies, tailored to specific research objectives. Our work is presented at various national and international conferences, including the Society of Behavioral Medicine, International Congress on Integrative Medicine and Health, Symposium for Yoga Research, American College of Sports Medicine, and the Gerontological Society of America.
